Vehicle Answers is an independent guide for one narrow, badly served problem: what to do when your vehicle paperwork goes wrong. Lost certificates, unpaid liens that will not release, bonded titles, estate transfers, and the fifty different sets of state rules behind all of it. We research every answer against official state DMV sources and explain it the way a knowledgeable friend would.
The site is run by Zeyaullah Anwar, a vehicle title researcher who has spent years mapping how each state's DMV actually handles replacement titles, lien releases, and ownership transfers. Every guide on this site carries his byline because every guide is researched and verified by him.

Every fee, form number, and processing time on this site is checked against the official state agency that charges it or issues it. When a state changes a fee or a form, we update the guide.
